日本フィリピン企業協議会（JPIC）について｜JPIC 日本フィリピン企業協議会

日本フィリピン企業協議会（Japan Philippine Industry Council）は、日系フィリピン人のアイデンティティ回復を支援することを目的とした、複数の日本企業が構成するネットワークです。
フィリピン残留日本人の身元・国籍確認をはじめ、その子孫である2世・3世の在留資格取得や就労を支援する取り組みを通じて、日本ルーツの継承と日系フィリピン人の社会参加を支援しています。

The Japan Philippine Industry Council is a network composed of multiple Japanese companies dedicated to supporting the restoration of identity for Japanese Filipinos.
Through initiatives such as verifying the identities and nationalities of Japanese left behind in the Philippines, as well as assisting their second- and third-generation descendants in obtaining residency status and employment opportunities, the Council supports the preservation of Japanese heritage and the social participation of Japanese Filipinos.

120 年以上前に日本人労働者を受け入れ生活の場を提供してきたフィリピンと、その後の日本の産業を支えてきた日本人・日系人。私たちはこの歴史を背景に、両者をつなぐ架け橋として、企業という立場からフィリピン社会の発展に寄与することを目指しています。
これからの企業には、事業活動だけではなく、社会に貢献できる人材を育てる役割が求められていると考えています。

Over 120 years ago, the Philippines welcomed Japanese workers and provided them with a place to live and build their lives. In later years, Japanese nationals and Japanese Filipinos went on to support the growth of Japan’s industries. With this shared history as our foundation, we strive to serve as a bridge between the two nations and contribute to the development of Philippine society from the perspective of the business community.
We believe that companies today are expected not only to pursue business activities, but also to nurture individuals who can contribute to society.
Through our council, we invite you to join us in harnessing the power of corporate social contribution to help shape the future.

当協議会はダバオ市日系人会（PNJK）と緊密に連携し、残留日系2世の就籍・法的認知やコミュニティへの組織的支援を継続してきました。さらに、次世代を育む教育支援や奨学金事業、子どもたちの未来を守る福祉活動、文化・スポーツを通じた交流など、多角的な活動を行っております。
急成長を遂げるフィリピンにおいて、私たちはこれからも日系人社会を支え、経済・社会の両面で真摯に貢献を続けてまいります。会員の皆様と共に、日本とフィリピンの温かく活力ある未来を創造していけることを願っております。

Our Council has been working closely with the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai in Davao (PNJK), continuing to support the remaining second-generation Japanese descendants through assistance with family registration, legal recognition, and organized community support initiatives. In addition, we are engaged in a wide range of activities, including educational support and scholarship programs to nurture the next generation, welfare initiatives that protect the future of children, and cultural and sports exchanges that strengthen mutual understanding and connection.
As the Philippines continues its rapid growth, we remain committed to supporting the Nikkei community and contributing sincerely to both the economic and social development of the country. Together with our members, we hope to help create a warm and vibrant future for Japan and the Philippines.

30年以上にわたる支援の実績と、これからの挑戦 Over 30 Years of Impact, and the Road Ahead

日本フィリピン企業協議会（JPIC）は、1992 年の設立以来、日系フィリピン人への支援を続けてきました。就籍支援（日本国籍の取得サポート）や教育支援を柱に、フィリピン各地の日系人コミュニティと手を携えながら、活動の輪を広げています。

Since its founding in 1992, the Japan Philippine Industry Council (JPIC) has been dedicated to supporting Filipinos of Japanese descent. With a focus on koseki registration (supporting Japanese nationality recognition) and educational assistance, JPIC has grown alongside Nikkei communities across the Philippines. Explore the journey that has brought us here.

1992	ダバオにルーツを持つ日本人たちが集い、日系フィリピン人が自らのアイデンティティを取り戻すための支援を目的とする「フィリピン日系人技術教育協会」をダバオ市に設立しました。日本に拠点を置く企業が参加。設立時の会員は13社、初代会長には古川忍氏が就任しました。 Japanese individuals with roots in Davao came together to establish the Philippine Nikkei Jin Technology and Education Association in Davao City. The association, composed of Japan-based companies, was founded to support Japanese-descended Filipinos in regaining their identity. At its founding, the association had 13 member companies, with Mr. Shinobu Furukawa serving as its first president.
1993	豊口修氏が中心となって進めていた日系フィリピン人の法的認知取得活動への支援が、本格的にスタート。西田健真弁護士の協力のもと、「法的認知調査プロジェクト」により104名の方々が支援を受けました。 JPIC began actively supporting the movement for the legal recognition of Japanese-descended Filipinos, led by Mr. Osamu Toyoguchi, with legal assistance from Atty. Kenshin Nishida, 104 individuals benefited from the Legal Recognition Project.
1994	協会名称を「日本フィリピン企業協議会（JPIC）」に改称。会員数は28社に増加し、「法的認知調査プロジェクト」の支援対象も120名に広がりました。第2代会長に村上忍氏が就任しました。 The organization was renamed the Japan Philippine Industry Council (JPIC). Membership grew to 28 companies, and the number of beneficiaries of the Legal Recognition Project increased to 120. Mr. Shinobu Murakami became the second president.
1995	第1回総会を開催しました。会員数は30社、支援対象者は140名となりました。 JPIC held its first General Assembly. Membership grew to 30 companies, and the number of beneficiaries increased to 140.
1996- 1997	網代正孝氏が率いる日本フィリピンボランティア協会（JPVA）と連携し、支援活動を展開しました。 JPIC collaborated with the Japan-Philippines Volunteer Association (JPVA), led by Rev. Masataka Ajiro, to implement various support initiatives.
1998	第3代会長に関野章氏が就任しました。 JPVAおよび法的認知調査プロジェクトへの支援を継続しました。会員数は37社、支援対象者は200名に達しました。 Mr. Akira Sekino became the third president. JPIC continued its support for JPVA and the Legal Recognition Project. Membership grew to 37 companies, while the number of beneficiaries reached 200.
1999	フィリピン日系人会（PNJK）への支援体制を正式に整えました。また、孤児院「ハウス・オブ・ジョイ」への支援も新たに開始しました。 JPIC formalized its support framework for the Philippine Nikkei-Jin Kai (PNJK) and also began supporting the House of Joy orphanage.
2000	PNJK、JPVA、ハウス・オブ・ジョイへの支援を継続するとともに、フィリピン日系人会学校の小学生（2年生～6年生）を対象としたJPIC 奨学金制度を開始。さらに、孤児院「ココナッツ・チルドレン（サマル）」への支援もスタートしました。 While continuing its support for PNJK, JPVA, and the House of Joy, JPIC launched a scholarship program for elementary students (Grades 2 to 6) at the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai School. It also began supporting the Coconut Children orphanage in Samal.
2001	設立10周年を迎えました。会員数は55社に増加しました。 JPIC celebrated its 10th anniversary. Membership grew to 55 companies.
2002- 2015	第4代会長に伊藤英夫氏が就任しました。 PNJK への支援、JPIC 奨学金制度（小学校～高校）、ココナッツ・チルドレンへの支援を継続するとともに、未認知の日系フィリピン人の法的認知取得を支援するフィリピン日系人法的支援センター（PNLSC）への協力や、河合弘之弁護士による「シュウセキ・プロジェクト」への支援も開始しました。 Mr. Hideo Ito assumed the position of fourth president. JPIC continued its support for PNJK, its scholarship program (from elementary through high school), and Coconut Children. It also began supporting the Philippine Nikkei-Jin Legal Support Center (PNLSC), which assists Filipinos of Japanese descent in obtaining legal recognition, as well as the Shuseki Project led by Atty. Hiroyuki Kawai.
2016- 2025	第5代会長に徳満義弘氏が就任しました。 PNJK、PNLSC、JPIC 奨学金制度（インターナショナルスクールおよびカリナン校）への支援を継続するとともに、フィリピン日系人会連合会をはじめ、各地域の日系人団体への支援を拡大しました。また、ミンダナオ国際大学（MKD）などの学生への個人奨学金支援や、ダトゥ・ウチダ開発財団によるダバオ市野球大会への協力も行っています。 Mr. Yoshihiro Tokumitsu became the fifth president. JPIC continued supporting PNJK, PNLSC, and its scholarship programs at the International School and the Calinan campus. It also expanded its support to regional Nikkei organizations across the Philippines. In addition, JPIC initiated individual scholarships for students at Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku (MKD) and contributed to the Davao City Baseball Cup organized by the Datu Uchida Development Foundation.
2025-	第6代会長に半澤浩樹氏が就任しています。 PNJK、PNLSC、JPIC 奨学金制度（インターナショナルスクールおよびカリナン校）への支援を継続するとともに、各地域の日系人団体へのサポートや奨学金事業、ダバオ市野球大会への協力も引き続き行っています。 Mr. Hiroki Hanzawa serves as the sixth president. JPIC continues to support PNJK, PNLSC, and its scholarship programs at the International School and the Calinan campus. It also maintains its support for regional Nikkei organizations, scholarship initiatives, and the Davao City Baseball Cup.

2023年2月17日、JPIC は設立30周年を迎えました。
On February 17, 2023, JPIC celebrated its 30th founding anniversary.
